A Life Full of Stories
I’m a wife, mother, grandmother to ten wonderful grandchildren, and proud resident of Oak Grove, Alabama. Family is my heartbeat, and my journey is woven with love, resilience, and an unwavering determination to keep moving forward.
Fashion has always been in my genes—literally. My grandmother, a buyer for Macy’s in New York, instilled in me a love for style and creativity from a young age. That passion stayed with me, becoming my outlet during life’s challenges, especially after the heartbreaking loss of my son in 2024. His motorcycle numbers, 3214, inspire my work and remind me to honor his memory with every creative endeavor
A Professional Journey of Perseverance
Before retiring, I worked as an ER and hospice nurse—a career defined by compassion and resilience. My nursing journey wasn’t easy. After graduating college, I failed my boards five times. But 23 years later, with my daughter in nursing school, I found the courage to try again. This time, I passed on my first attempt—a proud moment that taught me to never give up on myself. Now, I encourage others to believe in their potential because, if I can do it, so can you.
A Bold and Creative Soul
I thrive on creativity—whether it’s reworking fashion, painting canvases (and even floors!), or sharing bold and vibrant style tips. My love for leopard prints and bright colors reflects my big personality and refusal to blend into the background. I’ve even got a quirky fascination Python, especially the yellow one. I think they are unique and beautiful, although I’d never have one as a pet.
Faith, Family, and Fun
Faith has always been my anchor, even when tested by life’s toughest challenges. My granddaughter, Sunnie Beth, who will turn 3 in March, is battling leukemia with incredible strength. Watching her fight has deepened my appreciation for life and the importance of cherishing every moment.
When I’m not blogging or creating content, you’ll find me babysitting my grandkids (seven of whom live next door!), shopping, or dreaming of my next beach trip. I love fall, adore The Devil Wears Prada, and feel most alive by the ocean or in Nashville.
